Where’s my tooth?!?

That tooth has been hanging on for a couple weeks now. We were at the Party Palace for a bday party of one of Audrey’s friends. You were climbing up one of the inflatable slides when someone else came down and managed to hit you right in the mouth. You immediately looked at me with tears in your eyes…but then…you noticed something in your mouth. You spit it out on the inflatable because you weren’t sure what it was at first😂. But then you realized, “My tooth!!” Your tears were immediately replaced with a beaming, toothless smile!! You are the sweetest little girl tho because within minutes you were worried that your mommy wasn’t there to witness it. Your momma was bound and determined to be there for your first tooth because Audrey had lost hers at school. She’s been at everything, every time, every where, but unfortunately she wasn’t feeling well so she laid down on the couch to rest while we went to the party. I thought it was pretty amazing how much you cared about your mommas feelings. You are an amazing sweet beautiful little girl. Daddy is proud of you! And mommy is too!!!

I’ll add…the tooth fairy didn’t have any change so your first tooth paid a whopping 20 bucks…don’t get used to it!😂. Love you!

Kindergartener flies an airplane!

Enjoying a daddy daughter afternoon! Audrey was getting to do something with mamaw me and you were going to make the best of the afternoon.

We flew to Somerset, ate at Mellow Mushroom, grabbed some Baskin Robins, and then you flew us home. You followed the power lines from Somerset to London and I literally never touched the stick. I’m amazed at how well you can fly when you can’t even see out of the front window. Proud of you!

Amelia rides a bike!

April 27, 2021. First ride with no training wheels!

Amelia,

You did it girl!!! You told daddy you wanted to ride a bike and you did it! You were brave and persistent. Yes, you fell a couple times but every time you got back up! We’ll, a couple of times it took a minute but daddy never had to ask you to get back on. You wanted to ride a bike and you did it! Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera charged to get it on video but we’ll get one soon. I’m proud of you! I’m not just proud that you rode a bike, I’m proud that you didn’t give up. You kept pushing yourself. I love you girl!

This is how far you rode! So proud of you!

Amelia Funnies

Mall of America Ferris wheel 🎡

#1. Amelia was in trouble for not listening….

Daddy: “Amelia, you have to listen to you mom! Whatever she tells you to do, you’ve gotta listen and do it!

Amelia: “What if she tells me to jump off a cliff?” 😂

Obviously I struggled not to laugh be responded, “Well, I’m sure there’s probably a good reason she tells you that so jump”😂

#2. Once again Amelia was not listening. This time, I said if you don’t start listening better then I’m not gonna let you watch Netflix for a whole week.

Amelia turns to mommy and says “Are you going to let him threaten us like this?”😂

#3. Mamas picked amelia up from school and spent the day with Eliza. Mamas tells me that, you and Eliza were talking and that you said, “ Eliza, do you know why dogs sniff other dogs butts?…..because that’s how they say hello!”

Love you girl! You always keep us laughing!!

Life Lessons from a 4 yr old

Audrey shared a story about a kid in her first grade class which led into a conversation about loving others and always being nice.

Daddy “We should always be nice to people and treat them the way we want to be treated. We never know what other kids might be going through”

Audrey – “Yeah, like if kids are being bullied, we should be nice to them”

Daddy – “That’s right!”

Amelia (4 yrs old) – “ I know! I know! Like if you’re in the bathroom and there’s someone else in the bathroom and they keep trying to look under the stall and see ur butt, that’s bullying”

You always keep us laughing!
