The love of a daddy for his little girl is one that is truly unimaginable!  As much as one could hope to understand it, it can’t be, until experienced. I thought I knew what it would be like, I had no clue!  The moment I laid eyes on my beautifully created baby girl, my heart was overwhelmed with love. My smile glistened like the sun. My face beamed with joy!  My family of two had just become three and nothing could have been any better!  We were getting ready to start the best chapter of our life and the starring role was going to be played by none other than daddy’s little girl!  My Girl, My World.

Since the day we found out about you, your mom and I have not stopped praying for you!  Our desire is that you will be filled with the knowledge of Jesus Christ will and with all wisdom and spiritual understanding.  That you will walk worthy and pleasing unto the Lord, being fruitful in all that you do, and always increasing in the knowledge of God. We pray that you will be strengthened with all his might and glorious power so that you will have the patience and endurance that you need.

Audrey Marilee, my sweet little girl, may your life be filled with joy that can only come from Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dear Audrey,  There is no doubt that you have “hung the moon” in your daddy’s eyes. As much as I knew I would love you, I realize that I had no idea. My love for you is completely unexplainable, deeper than you could ever imagine, more than I could have ever dreamed. You are now and always will be daddy’s little girl. My life has been forever changed for the better because of you. I’m amazed at how my conversations are now centered around you, our radio plays mostly nursery rhymes, our TV is is recording and playing your shows.  All of a sudden my desire to fish is outweighed by my desire to hold you in my arms. You will always be daddy’s little princess so as you grow I am going to write you letters, stories, memories, and milestones so that one day you will be able to read how amazing you really are and also to give you a glimpse of your daddy’s heart.
